I can’t think of very many things I would rather do. It was a great day!
…and what did I see? Popcorn Popping. Yeah, it’s spring! I love it when my peach tree has blossoms on it. I’ve been watching it closely the last few days to catch the first blossom open.
Unfortunately, I saw this too.
My goal this week was to be a “fun” mom. Some of the things we did to try and accomplish this (most of these things were just me and Tyson) were: story time at the library, see the fish at Cabella’s, hide and Seek, played with friends, and got out the swimming pool when the kids were HOT in our 70 degree weather. I’ve tried to be more agreeable and nice to the kids and in turn, they seemed to be better kids for me. I’ve been trying to come up with ideas for being a “fun” mom for the whole summer. We’ll see how that goes. Any suggestions would be great!
Proof that I am a “fun” mom (sometimes, anyway.)
I had so much fun this evening with the B family! We got some cute ones for sure. I’m having a hard time narrowing them down. I think that’s a good sign. Enjoy!
1. I love love love it when my boys have fresh haircuts. I’ve been putting it off for way too long and finally got it done last night. How handsome they are!
2. Tyson got these boots with his Easter prizes. I was so excited today to take him out to find a puddle to jump in. At first, he just tested the water.
Then, he quickly caught on to my idea. We had fun, but he didn’t like it too much when his pants got wet. He knows that feeling all to well and knows that it is not comfortable.
… first sun burn! This is what a few hours in the sun does to us. He’s just like me! Guess we need to find the sunblock.
The weather finally cooperated with us today! I love Miss M’s new Easter dress. So cute.
